Please be advised about the rules of servicing passenger transfers in the Pulkovo Airport terminals.
Pulkovo 1
Transfer from one domestic flight to another one
- Proceed to the departure area located on the second floor of the terminal for the check-in to your connecting flight.
- Your baggage will be transferred to your connecting flight, therefore you don’t need to claim and recheck your baggage if it was checked in to your final destination point.
- After receiving a boarding pass, please follow the signs to the security checkpoints for your pre-flight inspection.
- Proceed to your departure gate. The gate number, time of boarding start and end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the information displays.
Transfer from a domestic flight to an international one
- Proceed to the arrival area on the first floor to receive your baggage.
- Proceed to the departing passenger service area in the center of the second floor, to check-in for your connecting flight.
- After receiving a boarding pass, proceed to the customs, passport control and pre-flight security checkpoints.
- Proceed to your departure gate. The gate number, time of boarding start and end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the data display.
Transfer from an international flight to a domestic one
- Proceed to the arrival area, to pass the passport control.
- Please follow the signs to proceed to the baggage claim area, receive your baggage.
- Then clear customs and pass through any other checkpoints, if necessary.
- Proceed to the departing passenger service area in the center of the second floor, for the check-in to your connecting flight.
- After receiving a boarding pass, please follow the signs to the security checkpoints for your pre-flight inspection.
- Proceed to your departure gate. The gate number, time of boarding start and end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the data display.
Transfer from one international flight to another one
- Proceed to the arrival area to pass the passport control.
- Please follow the signs to proceed to the baggage claim, customs and agricultural control areas, receive your baggage.
- Proceed to the general services area on the second floor, to check-in to your next flight.
- After receiving a boarding pass, proceed to the right-hand section of the general services area, to clear customs and pass passport control and security checkpoints for pre-flight inspection.
- Proceed to your departure gate. The gate number, time of boarding start and end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the data display.
Pulkovo 2
Arrival to and departure from Pulkovo 2
- After arriving at the Pulkovo 2 international terminal, proceed to the transfer agent desk on the second floor gallery, to be checked in for your connecting flight.
- Your baggage will be transferred to your connecting flight, therefore you don’t need to claim and recheck your baggage if it was checked in to your final destination point.
- After receiving a boarding pass, proceed to your departure gate, to pass through the security checkpoint for pre-flight inspection. The gate number, time of boarding end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the data display.
Arrival to Pulkovo 2 terminal and departure from Pulkovo 1
- Upon arriving to the Pulkovo 2 international terminal, proceed to passport control booths, pass the passport control.
- After the passport control, you must claim you baggage and clear customs.
- Then come to the desk having the sign “Information – Arrival” in the arrival area on the first floor, to order a bus transporting air passengers to the airport Pulkovo 1.
- Upon arriving to the airport Pulkovo 1, proceed to the area B – general service area – to check-in for your connecting flight.
- After receiving a boarding pass, please follow the signs to the security checkpoints for your pre-flight inspection.
- Proceed to your departure gate. The gate number, time of boarding start and end are indicated in the boarding pass and shown on the data display.
If you missed the connecting flight due to the late arrival of your first flight or your flight has been cancelled for any reason, for example, weather conditions or technical problems, Rossiya Airlines at the departure point or in intermediate points shall provide the following services:
- passengers with young children (age 7 and under) will be offered a special lounge at the airport or accommodations in a hotel;
- in case the departure is late for more than two hours, passengers will be offered the possibility to make two free phone calls or send an e-mail or fax message;
- in case the departure is late for more than two hours, passenger will be offered soft drinks;
- in case the departure is late for more than four hours, and then every next six hours (in daytime) or eight hours (at night), passengers will be offered hot meal;
- in case the departure is late for more than eight hours (in daytime) or six hours (at night) passengers will be offered accommodations in a hotel;
- passengers will be offered transfer from the airport to a hotel and back;
- the passengers’ baggage will be placed in storage;
- passengers will be get their tickets rechecked to other flights of Rossiya Airlines or another airline, subject to availability.
All services mentioned above shall be free of charge.
