Baggage in the aircraft cabin - baggage requiring special norm of transportation (as in the case of valuable and fragile items) is allowed for transportation in the cabin. Passengers are obliged to coordinate such a service with the air company beforehand when making their reservation or buying their ticket. The baggage shall be specially checked for air safety. The baggage shall be taken on and off board of the aircraft by the passenger personally. If the baggage dimensions are big a passenger has to pay for a separate seat according to passenger tariff. The weight of baggage shall not exceed 80 kg., and its dimensions shall not exceed of a passenger seat. Such baggage is placed in a seat by cabin window and fixed with a belt. Baggage requiring special norm of transportation and transported in the cabin is not checked-in. Passengers are obliged to take care themselves of the baggage they carry in the cabin. Appropriate fares and dues for the baggage carried in the cabin shall be exacted from passengers prior to the start of transportation when buying the ticket or when baggage is checked-in in the airport of departure. The fare for baggage transportation on an extra seat shall correspond to the price of transportation of the passenger carrying such baggage. Discounts are not applied to the fare for an extra seat; no group rates are used. The free baggage allowance shall not be applied to an extra ticket. |
