Group baggage is baggage belonging to a group of passengers consisting of two or more persons (a family, a delegation, a sports team, etc.) who may merge their baggage, if they travel by one flight to a common point of destination or point of transfer. A merger concerns the free baggage allowance only. This means that baggage is checked in for each passenger individually, except for family groups. |
